Catholic Charities of St. Louis is currently seeking a full-time Donor Engagement Manager. The Donor Engagement Manager will serve as a frontline fundraiser focusing on qualifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding a portfolio of major gift prospects and donors giving $1,000+.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of 150+ major gift prospects and donors
- Develop and execute individualized cultivation and solicitation strategies
- Conduct 100+ meaningful contacts with prospects/donors annually
- Secure gifts of $1,000+ from individual donors
- Identify, qualify, and develop new major gift prospects
- Partner with the CEO and leadership to develop donor engagement strategies
- Coordinate with the advancement team on fundraising campaigns
- Plan and execute donor cultivation events
- Maintain accurate records in CRM database
- Prepare proposals, reports, and correspondence for donors
- Track and report on fundraising progress toward goals
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related field required
- Minimum 3 years of experience in fundraising, development, or relationship management
- Proven track record of soliciting and closing gifts of $1,000+
- Proficiency with CRM systems and donor databases
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range: $55,000 – $62,000
